Newalta Continues to Strengthen Board with Appointment of New Director

Mr. Ryley has been in the Canadian energy industry for over 30 years, and is currently a Principal with Beacon Head Energy, a business advisory and investment management firm specializing in alternate and renewable energy. Previously he was with Suncor Energy for 25 years, where he held a wide range of commercial, operating and business development positions. Mr. Ryley finished his career with the company as Executive Vice President of Refining and Marketing.

A resident of Toronto, he is a former member of the fundraising Cabinet, and a long-time supporter of the United Way of Greater Toronto. He is currently a director of Benefuel Inc., and is a former Chair of the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute.
